Products
Densmore Tool & Die Works offers an extensive range of custom precision tooling, classified into four main product branches as shown below. Every one of our products is designed to meet and exceed our customers’ requirements.
Balancer Fixtures
Features and Benefits:
- Tooling designs currently used on Schenck, Balance Engineering, Hofmann, Universal Balancing, Raven, and BTI machines.
- Air or drawbar design
- Designs are a result of ongoing continuous improvement
- Quick change feature improves balancer utilization and reduces changeover costs significantly without sacrificing balance accuracy and repeatability.
- Easy load/unload for improved (reduced) balance cycle time
- Fixtures have runout adjustment and can be balanced to ensure optimum electronic tooling compensation in all types of balancers
- Mu (measurement of accuracy and repeatability) results of less than or equal to 1.5 g-mm for excellent balance repeatability.
- Excellent Cpk (process capability) results (initial Cpk, flip Cpk and midpoint plots) based on driveshaft designs
- Repeatable at high RPMs (5800+ RPM)
- Cost savings through re-engineered tooling and work holding to boost operational efficiency.
